South American coffee has roots going back to the 18th century when coffee plants were first brought to Brazil. Thanks to the region’s unique mix of altitude, climate, and fertile soils, it’s become one of the top coffee producers in the world. Countries like Colombia, Brazil, and Peru are famous for their distinct flavors, ranging from fruity and floral to chocolatey and nutty.

Oceania, especially the highlands of Papua New Guinea, also has a strong coffee-growing tradition. Introduced in the early 20th century, coffee farming here benefits from volcanic soils and a great microclimate. Beans from Oceania are known for their complex aromas and vibrant acidity, offering a different but just as exciting taste experience.
